FAQs

Question: How do I pronounce your first name?

Answer: EFF-in-ee. It’s quite similar to (but does not rhyme exactly with) Stephanie. Common mispronunciations include “Epiphany” and eff-EE-nee. If you’re really having trouble, just think about knocking off the first two letters from “Stephanie” and you’ll be close enough.

Question: What’s your favourite fairy tale?

Answer: Definitely “Hansel & Gretel”. I enjoy it on several different levels, but ultimately it’s the sense that terrible things lurk inside of life’s sweet packaging that resonates most deeply with me.

Question: Will you submit something to my publication?

Answer: Possibly. Let me know what you’re looking for (including if you’re interested in reprints) and how much you’re paying. I always appreciate being asked, even if it doesn’t turn out to be a good fit.

Question: When can I see your next play?

Answer: There aren’t any future productions scheduled for the moment, sorry. Of course, please drop me a line if you’d like to produce one.

Question: Will I ever get to hear the original cast recording of “Shining Armour”?

Answer: I really wish I could say yes to this one, but it looks highly unlikely at this stage. I haven’t heard it, either. The producers don’t have the recording files; things did not go at all as planned. If “Shining Armour” is ever produced again I’d love to share those new recordings with you.
